Buffalo Linux ist eine VectorLinux basierte Distribution.
Buffalo Linux erweitert VectorLinux u. a. um eine CodeWeaver Installation, mit der Sie Microsoft Office und Lotus Office unter Linux laufen lassen können, sowie eine vorinstallierte IBM DB2.
The new Buffalo version 1.7.0 is a MAJOR upgrade.
It includes the latest 2.6.11 kernel (with 2.6.8.1 still included for those not wanting the 'bleeding-edge'), the latest X11 release from Xorg 6.8.2 and over 120 individual package upgrades.
Included in 1.7.0 are updates to AbiWord, Gimp, Sylpheed, and a demo version of Win4Lin for those who still need M$ Win2000 or WinXP stuff. PLUS many updates to the desktop window manager 'bundle' packages:
